During this wonderful cultural exchange, we shared information about how this multi-purpose community garden came to be built, how it is maintained, and what kinds of events and activities we have here.  They were impressed by how much is done by volunteers in cooperation with city staff, as those efforts are only done by paid staff in their city.  During their visit, they also got a glimpse of a parent and child Nature Adventure pre-school program with Emily in action, as well as meeting some P-Patch gardeners working their plots.
